Granger had spent his entire nine-season NBA career in Indiana, becoming an All-Star in 2009 while averaging 25.8 points per game. Granger led the Pacers in scoring for five straight years, but he played in just five games last season while struggling with a knee injury. He then missed nearly the first two months of the current season with a strained left calf before returning to average 8.3 points and 3.6 rebounds in 29 games. Paul Georges emergence in Indiana made Granger expendable, but he could be a key contributor to the Clippers, who need depth and secondary scoring. Granger chose Los Angeles over several suitors, including Miami, Houston and San Antonio. Granger could make his debut for the Clippers at home on Saturday against New Orleans.
