The Cardinal were outscored 86-22 in consecutive losses to Washington and Washington State. Their offensive line allowed 12 sacks in those losses, and preseason Heisman Trophy candidate Christian McCaffrey has largely been neutralized. ?As a result, Stanford was one of eight FBS teams eliminated from consideration for the College Football Playoff by The Eliminator this week.
