World Rugby chairman Bill Beaumont has confirmed the sports governing body will review the current eligibility rule.The current rule sees players become eligible for a country if they have lived there for three years.Agustin Pichot, the World Rugby vice-chairman, has previously spoken out against this rule, deeming the three-year period to be too short.It is something Beaumont agrees needs to be looked into but they will take a wind-ranging view on the issue before changing the rule.We are constantly reviewing all our laws and this is one we are looking at, Beaumont told reporters at the World Rugby Conference.
