Things are even going to get underway at the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center before the NFL Draft gets underway!On Monday, the NFL announced the offseason workout program dates for all 32 teams. Here are the dates for the Vikings.First Day: 15 AprilOrganized Team Activities: 21-23 May, 28-30 May, 3-6 JuneMandatory Minicamp: 11-13 JuneIt’s important to remember that the offseason program happens in three phases.Phase 1 encompasses the first two weeks of the program. During this time, all that takes place is strength and conditioning workouts, along with physical rehabilitation.Phase 2 covers the next three weeks. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a “separates” basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.Phase 3 is the next four weeks. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity Womens Stefon Diggs Jersey , or “OTAs”. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.The team is also allowed to hold a rookie development program that can last for seven weeks and will start on 13 May. During that time, no activities can be held on weekends, with the exception of one rookie minicamp. The date for those rookie minicamps will come down sometime down the track.So, even though we won’t actually be able to see any of it, our favorite team is going to be back at it in preparation for the 2019 season in about two weeks. We’ve got four more games this weekend for everyone’s viewing and discussion pleasure.Our adopted team, the Salt Lake Stallions, finally cracked the win column last weekend. Not coincidentally, they finally got to play a game at home, and they took down the previously undefeated Arizona Hotshots by a final score of 23-15. Things won’t get any easier for them this weekend, as they’ll take on another undefeated team.
