We thought that Mahomes might make up for some deficiencies in the pass protection, given his ability to extend plays. It turns out he can, but the offensive line is starting to play better as a unit as well. We can debate all day whether they were legit calls (both probably were), but it’s clearly something that the team needs to work on.
